THANKS. T^EFORE. vacating the City Hall we hereby tender to our friends, the general public, our hearty thanks for the really generous support and patronage, liberal beyond our expectations, accorded to us during the past year. % Our Business has been 'conducted under very trying circumstances, in premises not adapted to the purpose ; but the loyal manner *, in which our friends have stood by us, is eloquent proof that our system of trading is appreciated by a discriminating public. » I We claim that our position as distributers is unique; being ourselves large^manufacturers, our customers are brought into direct contact with factory prices. As importers we stand alone between the first manufacturers and the consumer; and securing as we do the benefit of all cash discounts,-we are .enabled to place goods before the public at wholesale prices. Our consignments to hand and advised amount to about iooo cases of General Drapery and Furnishing Goods, which are now being opened up. In a few days we shall announce that we are prepared to invite the public to ou*" new emporium, where it will be at once ii pleasure and !a satisfaction on both sides to transact business. m* OWING TO THE UNSUITABLE WEATHER .
