The Labour Bureau agent (Mr Ferguson) has received instructions from the Government to fforward 12 men to the railway works at the Poro-o-tarao-Ohinemoa section,' King Country. This work consists of deep cuttings, composed of earth and stone, so that the men sent up must be necessarily practical workmen. They will be selected from married men on the list at the bureau. Applications will be received up till noon on Tuesday next, when a ballot will be taken. Exhibition. —First award for Henning Tyres. Tyres repaired.-.-Stanley-street. —(Ad.)
