BRITISH RAILWAYS.
COSTLY REFORMS PROPOSED.
LONDON, March 7
In connection with the Railway Accidents Prevention Bill, introduced in the House of Commons by Mr Ritchie, it is estimated the cost of providing automatic coupling and carrying oxit other reforms embraced in the Bill will be ten million pounds. The Railway Association is sending a Commision to America to investigate the facts whereon the Bill is founded.
