Inspector Farley, of the West Australian Police, who is visiting the colony on business, combined with pleasure, was a passenger by the s.s. Elingamite from Sydney this morning.
Among the visiting delegates to the Druids' Grand Lodge in Auckland aic Air J. McKenna, Alayor of Patea, and Air ,ias. rurnell, tlte wejl-known volunteer .marksman, who has *yon numerous prizes all over the colony.
Air J. M. Brigham, Secretary of the Harbour-Boarch has cabled from London that the dredging machinery for the. Board has been shipped per s.s. Star of England. Mr Bri-hnm meets the Treasury on Thursday next in reference to the equipment of the Calliope Dock.
