TERRIBLE CONFLAGRATION.
HUNGARIAN VILLAGE DESTROYED
MANY LIVES LOST,
VIENNA, February 6
The village of Nagybabroes, in Hungary, was destroyed by fire to-day. Ninety charred bodies were recovered. Many were both suffocated and frozen* the weather being extremely cold. Others were tramped to death by maddened oxen. 'Three hundred houses were burned.
TROUBLE IN ALGIERS
PARIS, February 6
Owing to disturbances in the city of Algiers, the Governor has prohibited political meetings. The Mayor of the municipality has been suspended.
