The manager has driven 24 feet in the crosscut from the winze. NEW HAURAKI NORTH. The manager telegraphed to-day: — 'Struck quartz in the drive, good prospects. Expect to cut leader or reef shortly.' NEW MOANATATARI. A parcel of 150 tons of quartz, taken from the Cambria reef above No. 4 level in this company's mine, has been crushed for a return of bullion worth £214 10s Sd.
