Business on the Exchange continues to improve. Sales were made to-day of North Mt. Lyell shares at 69/3. Alphas sold at 3/2, and Waihi Silve>tons at ;")/. A demand set in for Great Barrier shares to-day, buyers offering 2/7, whereas latterly sellers were willing to accept that price. Four-in-Hand also firmed, being wanted at 1/7. Crowns, Woodsvocks and Talismans all maintained the advance noted on Saturday. May Oueens were a trifle firmer, being wanted at 5/9. In standard stocks Ralph's Taupiri coal shares were dealt in at 7/6, with further buyers at 7/5. Taupiri Extendeds also were in request at 23/. Other stocks showed litle alteration.
