A gardener named Fox, residing at Claremont, came to Perth on Saturday with his family, leaving his wife at home. When they returned his wife was missing and was eventually found dead a short distance from home. Her head had been split open with an axe and there were wounds on the upper part of the legs. There is no clue to the perpetrator of the murder.
