SHEEP SALE.
OHAUPO, Friday.
The second sheep fair of the season \ will be held at Ohaupo on the 15th inst.. when Mr W. J. Hunter will offer 20,000 Sheep.
At McNicol and Co.'s ram -fair held yesterday about 400 rams were presented. On the whole rams sold well, but there were no fancy prices, although prices were ahead of last year's figures. Fifty rams from Mr John Reid, of Oamaru, sold at from 2_ to 4 guineas. Mr F. R. Seddon topped the market with his Lin-,'
coins, getting 5\ guineas for a shearling ram. Mr C. J. Storey disposed of his lot of 50 Lincolns from 21 to 3 guineas. Shropshires were not in such demand as Lincolns, although Mr Coates. of Matakohe, sold aboii-r -W at from 3 to i_ guineas. Mr Day also sold most of his at 3 guineas, and Mr John Bosanko sold most of his at from li to 2 guineas.
