This now makes 26' hqrses to his account, He appeals tohave started at Scurlet Brewery, in Fendalton, where he stabbed a terf-year-old stallion by St. George. The animal was worked on Saturday, and turned out ip. the shrubbery at night. It was found at half-past six this morning with its jugular vein cijt through, lying in a pool of blood. About a mile further on, just %t the back of Papanui, he stabbed a promising two-year-old oolt by Young Irving** ton, in a paddock belonging to Mr <?« Henshaw. The animal's JUfnliftr veis was severed. All the apimals were stabbed in the same place, on the offside of the neck, about six inches from the angle of the jaw. A large posse of police, under Inspector Broham, were out all clay, assisted by ai black tracker from Queensland, who has been specially imported by the Horse Protection Association, l?ut §9 far no cine has been found. ,
