At a meeting of shareholders of Sharland and Co., the articles of association were amended to provide for the election of directors in the ordinary way, and for the removal of the head office to Wellington. Under the new articles. Messrs W. Watson. M. Kennedy, and C. Pharazyn are lo be the directors of the Company for the current year. It was announced that the Company had secured the services of two capable gentlemen from Australia to fill the vacancies caused by the retirement of Messrs Kliis and Sellgren, who resigned their positions in the Company.
