OLD IDENTITIES AFTERNOON,

The President ;nul Executive of the Exhibition made great arrangements for entertaining the old identities today and helping them to renew old friendships. At three o'clock they were met at the entrance to the Exhibition by Mr B. Kent, and afterwards they were escorted to the band rotunda. All were then taken slowly through the building-, and thence to the cycle banked track, where some races" were gone through. An adjournment was then made to the Choral Hall, where an entertainingprogramme was gone through. —v Kent made some suitable remarks, after which Mr Towsey played an organ solo. Mr Y\\ B. Catlzow sang 'My Pretty .lane"; Mrs Cadzow played a pianoforte solo. 'The Old Folks at Home"; Mrs J. M. CSeddi.s also rendered suitable songs. Refreshments were afterwards dispensed. At Messrs ]... D. Nathan's tea kiosk sixty were seated under direction of Messrs R. Kent. 11. C. Tewsley. I. Dignan, and W. R. Holmes (secretary). Forty were sealed at Mr A. affairs. Messrs T. Liodysou, Geo. Fowlds, and E. Hell acted in a similar capacity at the Christian Temperance Union stall, while Mr Koleys refreshment room was in charge of .Messrs AY. .1. Napier, \Y. Cvcwther, and S. T. George.

The Exhibition war. ::<;';;in well attended last evening. A promenade concert in the Victoria Avenue was given by Mv A. Hunter's orchestra, but there were no special attractions. TO-NIGHT'S PROGRAMME. A concert will be given in the Cnoral Hall to-night. The following will appear;— Misses (ii'i'lii- Campion. .Xfiiucl Heattie. Marie Mueller, Messrs Ernest Fitts, W. Percy, Harry Quealy, Horace Gleeson. CLHLDRE.VS DAY. To-morrow (Saturday) afternoon will be a children's day. Professor Rear will appear with his team of performing dogs: Mr Bush by with Punch ami .liidy; Professor Kear with juggling and legerdemain: and by special request tllfre will be a Maypole dance by pupils of Mrs Osmond.
