The new auxiliary scow built by Messrs Lane and Brown, of Y/i.angaroa, for th& Northern S.S. Company is now almost completed, and will i,robably be towe^ down the coast by che Clansman ntf^t week. The scow is to be employed in *.he trade between Whajsatane and this port, the bar being now so shallow that only vessels oi very li&nt draught can dyr^ssit.
