A match was played on Wednesday last on the Auckland Domain between Mr Pat Quinlan's selected Warn and a visiting one from Omaha, captained by Mi- 'D. W. Knafrgs. The game proved both interesting and enjoyable, and good all-round play was shown on both sides:. A feature of the day was the excellent bowling of the veteran cricketer Pat. Quintan, who secured three wickets for 10 runs. For the same team ('. Stone also rendered good service with the ball. For the visitors .I. Dunning, Micklejohn, and Knaggs did good work. Quinlan's team won the toss and elected to bat, and soon put together the r.v speetable total of 120; the visiiois then took the wickets, and by sheer pluck and good play totalled 115, thus team were entertained to an excellent luncheon.
