THAMES, this day
It is rumoured that Father O'Reilly, who has been on the Thames many years, and who is exceedingly popular among all classes, will shortly take up his residence in Auckland, and be succeeded at the Thames by Father Mahoney. Probably the change will not eventuate until after Easter.
The investigation of Thames claims under the Old Age Pensions Act will be commenced on the Ist of February.
The whereabouts of the missingman Joshua Lyes has not yet been ascertained. It is stated that he was seen on the Thames on Friday afternoon.
