IN BANKRUPTCY.
A first meeting of credit ore of Thos. Sydney Scott, photographer, of Maryst., Thames,-was called for this afternoon at the offices of the Official Assignee, there being present the debtor and his splicitor, Mr R. B.Liisk, and the following creditors:—Messrs L. Benjamin . (Hayman and Co.), Mrs Purneil (Thames), S. Hardy, A. Millar, Anderson (Jenkins and Co.).
The sworn statement of the bankrupt which was read showed that he started without capital. His debts amounted to £140 0/11, which extended over a period of 12 months.
The debtor was examined by Mr Benjamin as to moneys he had paid
f.cr making up his books and other ,i cstfv since the filmg1. Bankrupt said he boi rowed £3 from Mr'Pearce and the lest he had by him. He had taken nothing from his place of business since he filed on January 4th except photographs, ,and work that ,he had a>v_?, for which he- did not got mere ■•10/.
