Our Awhitu correspondent writes: — 'I regret very much to record the death of another respected settler in the person of Mr Thos. Brounlee, jun., who passed away a few days ago at the early age of 39. He leaves a widow and five children and aged parents to mourn their loss. Mr Brounlee had only occupied the farm 'Arrowmount,' which he bought from Mr John S. Graham, a few months when he was cut off from what seemed a favourable pursuit.. Sorrow and sympathy are freely expressed through, the district.
