The Northern Wairca stewards have announced an autumn steeplechase of £55. The Programme Committee has submitted a draught programme as follows: —Hurdles, Welter and Pony Handicaps, £20 each; Autumn Handicap, £40; Flying Handicap, £25; Selling Race, £10; and other events. A movement is afoot to disqualify all horses taking part in the Whangarei meeting, as the Whangarei Club is hostile to Wairoa. and the Association will be asked to enforce the disqualification.
