AUCKLAND, Wednesday. Owing to the Christmas holidavi the market is unsettled. However ■ supplies are very heavy, no less than 1,090 tons coming to hand for the twenty-eight days of December:' against 675 tons for the full month of December last year. The barque BitS; cairn Island is loading gum for. Lbn"1 don. The Star of the Jiast, now^ over, due, takes a' full shipment to New* York. Prices this week are only nominal, for no one is inclined to dc? business until the new year. ; ;
