Clover cream, which can be made without the clover essence, is particularly good for. a sallow skin. The recipe is: Melt one ounce of spermaceti, one ounce of white wax and five ounces of oil of sweet almonds. Remove from the fire and add one and three-fifth ounces of rosewater, in which has been dissolved twenty grains of powdered borax. Beat with eg-g--beater till cold. This will look like a fluffy mass of whipped cream, and you want to 'watch out' lest the 'chillens' get at it and try to eat it up.
