POLITICAL CRISIS.
ADELAIDE, this day. The Government representative refusing to give an assurance that the proposed referendum upon the Council franchise would not be taken concurrent with tbe. general elections, the Council resolved to adjourn till January 17 without passing the Appropriation Bill or dealing with any other business. Tbe Assembly is discussing the crisis.
