A TERRIFIC HAILSTORM.
ADELAIDE, this day.
A record hailstorm fell in the # city to-day. The hailstones were as big as pigeons' eggs and Avere intermixed with lumps of ice an inch and a halt thick. During the last quarter of an hour traffic was entirely suspended. Immense datnage was done, to windows and lamps.
