McDONALD V. INGALL.

(To the Editor.)

Sir,—! must ask you in fairness to allow me a word on your report in to-day's supplement re the above case. Firstly, it bears the stamp of personal 'animus; secondly of inaccurate onesidedness, and is certainly not a credit to your correspo.Ment's capabilities of fair reporting; to quote one misstatement alone is sufficient condemnation. It is made to appear that 1 refused to allow Mr McDonald to 'inspect' the register. 1 did nothing of the kind. However, in view of future possibilities I must decline to do anything further than call in question the accuracy of your correspondent's communication.—Yours, etc.. G. D. ING ALL.
