ONEHUNGA.
The Mayoral election at Onehunga was contested on November 30 by Dr. W. R. Erson 'and Mrs Elizabeth Yates, and evoked considerable enthusiasm. Shortly after six o'clock Captain Richardson, the returning- officer, declared the result to be as follows: — W. R. C. Erson 182 Elizabeth Yates 11l Informal ; 5 Majority for Dr. Erson 71 Dr. Erson thanked the ratepayers for being' returned.
