FATAL ACCIDENT.

A YOUTH DROWNED AT RICH-

MOND.

About eleven o'clock this morning a youth named Frank Young-, 13 years of age, was acciclently drowned in the dam at Warnoek Bros, factory, Cox's Creek, Richmond. It is stated the youth along- with some others was indiilging in the pastime of catching frogs when he overbalanced himself and fell in the dam.- An alarm was quickly given, .but the poor fellow was drowned before assistance reached him. The parents of Young- live in Eata-street, Ponsonby, his father being '/a bootmaker. Constable McClellan, of the Surrey 11111a station, was quickly on the scene, and during the afternoon the circumstances were forwarded to Dr. Phil son (coroner), who will no doubt hold the usual inquest on Mondayi
