WORK TO BE RESUMED.
NECESSARY CAPITAL GUARAN,

Messrs Bewick, Moreing and Co., the Company's consulting' engineers and general managers, have received a cablegram from London stating that the whole of the capital necessary for the completion of the constructional works now in progress has been guaranteed, and it is anticipatect tliat all operations will be. resumed within two weeks from the present date.
Messrs. Bewick, Moreing and C 0.,. the general managers, and consulting engineers of this, company, received by cable from London a, remittance sufficient to discharge ail liabilities to the contractors to date, and to allow of the immediate resumption of operations on the property. It is understood that the London and New Zealand Exploration Company, of which Messrs Bewick, Moreing and Co. are also the general managers, are financing the Whangamata Proprietary Company, pending the completion of its reconstruction. The whole of the capital necessary for the completion of the reduction woi'ks, water race, and certain important mine developments has been definitely guaranteed.
