The ballot for the right of selection in the Opuatla Block, Onewhero District, was held yesterday at the Crown Lands 'Office, being conducted by Mr Wm. C. Kensington, in the absence of the Commissioner of Crown Lands. Aito<*ether 485 applications Avere passed "through the ballot, the highest number for any single section being 92.
