THE HAUROTO.

The s.s. Hauroto arrived in port today at 1 a.m., from Society and Cook Islands. Mr J. O. Tubby, the purser, reports:—The Hauroto left Auckland on sth inst., and reached Rarotonga on llth. Left 12th, called Raiatea 14th, and moored Papeete, Tahiti, same date. Left Papeete 17th, called Raiatea, left that port on 18th; anchored off Island of Aitutaki, Cook Group, on the 20th; left same date, called Island of Mangaia on 21st for cargo; left 6 p.m. and anchored Rarotonga on the 22nd; departed 6 p.m. for Auckland, arriving as above. Had variable winds throughout with fine bright .weather.
