FOOTBALL IN CANTERBURY.

CHRISTCHURCH, Thursday.
The football match South Canterbury v. Canterbury was played here to-day and resulted in a win for Canterbury by 18 points to 3. The visiting forwards were quite equal to the local men, but tlie local backs showed fine combination.
