There was a good attendance, in spite of the inclement state of the weather, and the lecture was very interesting and instructive. A number of limelight views of mountain scenery were shown, the lantern being manipulated by Mr C. Mackie. After the lecture, the Snowdrop Minstrels gave a very successful variety entertainment. The entertainment was promoted by the church club, in aid of the hall building fund. k Ladies' wool underve'sts, 6d, 9d, and Is.
