THE HAMILTON FIRE.

HAMILTON this day.
The enquiry concluded at midnight. The evidence showed that lights were extinguished in Scott's shop when it was closed. Spedding's insurance on Scott s stock was £400. The verdict returned was that there was .no evidence to show the cause of the fire. Several charges of theft of jewellery on the night of the fire are proceeding this morning. ...
