LOCAL BILL. ! | Notice is hereby given that with the ob- j jec't and for the purpose of enabling 'The | Mayor, Councillors and Citizens of the } City of Auckland' or the Council thereof to levy Rates to such an amount- as may from time to time be rendered necessary by the circumstances and requirements of the City of Auckland a Local Bill will bo introduced into Parliament during the present Session thereof under the title of The City of Auckland Loans Consolidation and Additional Loan Acts Amendment Act, 1898. The object of the said Bill is 'to amend Section 20 of the City of Auckland Loans Consolidation Act, 1879, and Section 19 of the City of Auckland Additional Loan Act, 18S3. by the omission from each of the said sections of all the words of each of such Sections after the word 'hereunder' where such word occurs in such Sections but Part IX. (except Sections 201 and 219) of the Municipal Corporations Act, 18SG, to be still complied with in raising any new Loans. Theabove Bill will be introduced into Parliament as above by-or on behalf of the Mayor Councillors and Citizens of the City of Auckland. A copy of the said Bill has in accordance with Standing Orders Nos. 385 and 386 been deposited in the Magistrate's Court Auckland and is there open for public inspection.
