The house was insured for £600, and the. furniture for £400. TIMARU, Friday, i I In consequence of the considerable advance in the shingle bank beside the breakI water during the last two months, the j Harbour Board to-day resolved to request !Mr Napier Bell to visit and report before the next meeting, and advise the best method of treating the difficulty. | DUNEDIN, Friday. 1 The Ocean Beach Domain Board has received two schemes for the conservation of Ocean Beach and sandhills. Mr W. H. Hutcheson estimates the cost of his scheme £3,300, with an additional expenditure *of £400 to £500 per annum for some years, for tree planting. Mr Leslie Reynolds estimates the expenditure to carry out his scheme at £10,150.
