AVONDALE JOCKEY CLUB.
Owing to the Auckland Racing Club not being able t© hold their meeting, the Avondale Jockey Club intend bringing off a meeting m September to fill tip the breach. A two°year-old race with a fair stake is promised, also other attractive events. The programme is now under consideratien. In view of this meeting a number of horses have been put in work again at headquarters.
