SHAREMARKET.
Sales were again reported to-day on tlie Exchange of shares in the Wailil Company, the price paid being £5 each. Tararu Creek shares firmed a little, being asked for at 2/. Barrier Reefs were also a little firmer, 1/ being- offered to-day; and there was steady demand for Alphas at 1/4, but no sales were reported at those prices. There were enquiries to-day at low rates for Nonpareil, May Queen Extended j New Whan, Imperial, Waihi South, and Waihi Extended shares. Standard stocks were practically without change, save that Northern Steam shares sold at C/ 4 and were still wanted at 6/3.
