Wool: The outlook for the fourth series, which opens on' Tuesday, is distinctly more hopeful. There is a strong' demand, nml an advance is expected in merino wools. . Frozen meat: Cross-bred wethers, maiden ewes,Cahtertmry,3&d; Dunedin and Southland, not quoted; North Island, 2 13-1 Cd. Lamb: Prime Canterbury, 4gd; inn' average, including Dunedin, Southland, Wellington, and secondary Canterbury, 4Jd. River Plate mutton unchanged.
At the Australian rabbit skin sale, 4G7 bales were offered, and all sold.' There was an excited demand, and a general advance of 3d per Ib.
