AMERICA TO BOMBARD I MEDITERRANEAN PORTS AND THE CANARIES.
LONDON,. June 26.
The Sptanish squadron in command <Ji Admiral Camara, on the way from ' Cadiz to the Philippines, has been sighted at Pert Said, the Mediterranean entrance to the Suez Canal. _ Reports from Washing-ton state that w the Spanish vessels enter the Sura Canal the best ships of Admiral Sampson's squadron will be despatched to bombard the Spanish Mediterranean ports and also the Canary Islands. [The principal Spanish ports in the Mediterranean are Malaga, CarthageDa, Alicante, Valencia, Castellon, Tarragona, and Barcelona.]" z
