(For 24 hours from S a.m. this day): •\Yinci—Gale between north-west and west and south at all places northward of Tauranga and Manukau. and between south-east and south and west elsewhere. Barometer—Further rise at all places northward of Thames and Manukau, rising soon from thence southward to Lyttelton and Kaikoura, further fall but rising after 10 hours at all other places. Sea— Increasing' on west coast of' South Island, heavy on western coast of North Island, heavy but falling on eastern coast. Tides— High on western coast of North Island, moderate south of Cape Farewell good but decreasing on all eastern coast.
