The ratepayers have authorised the borrowing of . £30,000 f6r the purpose of constructing water and drainage works at a'special rate of 1/1 in the £ on the rateable value of all property within a special area, which rateable value, rental value, is now approximately £24,180, and will probably increase annually. This special rate will produce approximately • £1309 per annum, and this rate and the works are offered as security for the loan.
