At ihe I'ontypndd (Wales) Police Court v merchant wur charged with selling American hams containing o.s per cent, borucic acid. An expert pave evidence that this pcrcontnge was not noxious. The bench, in dismissing the <vise, said they regretted that similar expert evidence was not: available In connection with recent, prosecutions by th» filainorgan County Council of sellers of Australian butter, alleged to have been adulterated with boraeic acid.
