THE BARQUE LEON.

RUSSELL, this day.
The s.s. Stella returned here last night with the barque Leon in tow. After leaving here on Tuesday night they got as far as the Poor Knights, when the tow rope parted owing to the heavy surge, consequently both vessels had to return here. They leave again this afternoon, when they will use the barque's cable to tow with.
