GOLD RETURNS.

OUTPUT FOR MONTH £37,230.

Ihe output of bullion from the various nnes in the Hauraki Peninsula during ■lie past month totals £37,230 19s sd° ns is not so large as the former month's mtput, when the Waihi Company's record nelcL considerably swelled the total. It must also be remembered that last month included two returns each from the Royal Oak and Komata Reefs companies. It is gratifying to note thatas compared with the output for the first six months of last year, 1898 shows an increase of over £61,000.
