THE OUTPUT DOUBLED,
£1,415 FROM 533 TONS
The return from this Karangahake mine for the past month's crushing operations shows decided improvement, the yield being about double the previous one, when 310 tons gave bullion worth £732. This month 533 tons of ore were treated for an output of bullion worth £1,415. The experiments tried by Mr H. 11. Adams to treat tho ore from this mine are reported to be resulting very satisfactorily. Five head of stampers are being used for the experiments, and it is stated the saving is equal to 93 per cent, of tho assay value of the ore.
