Mahara Royal.
£453 FOR THE MONTH
The cleaning up for the past month's operations at this Tapu mine resulted in bullion worth £453 2s being obtained from about 240 tons of ore treated. The gold was worth 6ln 7d peroz. But for extensive landslips, which damaged both tho water race and tramway, resulting in the battery being stopped for nine days, the return would have been much larger. The necessary repairs have now been effected, and the battery is once more working full time.
