tree. He had evidently been digging * round the roots when the tree slipped fimvn, janiminj* him under it and against another free. His spade and
floear were alongside. The constable louud it necessary to dig deceased out from under the tree. An inquest on the body was held yesterday at the ennnp before Mr Forrest, Coroner, -when a verdict whs returned to the effect that deceased was found dead. Deceased was a single man.
