Corsets.—Remove steels in front |and sides; put corsets on board and ifccrub with tepid lather of Castile feoap. Rinse under. faucet, pull until ijstraight, and dry in cool place,. x>ulling when partly dry. |^Silk stockings.—Wash in lather of fDastile soap, rinse very thoroughly in :^lear water, turn *: wrong side out, Spring dry in' a: cloth; When nearly I jdry stretch and rub" in hands' to |hape them; do not iron. ' Silk underwear.—Make lather of Kvhite soap; water hot, not scalding; , squeeze in' hands, rinse through two iwaters, shake, snap, and pull into ||hape. /Pull into shape when-nearly itiry; do not,iron.- ?
£ Bluing.—A good test for discover|hg the .presence of the dangerous Prussian blue is to dissolve a little soda in water, add bluing, and heat over fire. Pour into a, glass; jivhen cold a brown, deposit of iron |hows presence of Prussian blue. ,
