The s.s. Taupo sailed for Greymouth and Westport on Saturday night. The barque Woosung loft this port for Whangaroa yesterday to complete her loading for Sydney.

The Government steamer Hinemoa will leave for the Kermadecs via the Northern lighthouses to-morrow inornin<r.

The barque. Alice will finish her loading of kauri gum for New York to-morrow, and \vill drop out into the stream on Wednesday in readiness to sail for the American wort.

The s.s. Hauroto arrived from Timaru on Saturday evening with-a cargo of produce. She left Timaru on Wednesday last, and had a strong north-east gale across the Straits, hence fine weather till approaching the port, when foggy weather necessitated slowing down for some hours.
