WELLINGTON R.C. SUMMER MEETING.
HUTT TRAINING NOTES,
(By Telegraph—Press Association.)
WELLINGTON, this day,
It was a fine morning and the track at the Hutt was in splendid going order. The work commenced at four o'clock, when St. Paul cantered twice round, moving very freely. Gold leaf ran around twice at a good pace, but she was tiring at the finish. Haria galloped 1£ miles with light weight up, accompanied by .Spinner for the first six furlongs. He was brought home by the Hon. George, who beat him at the finish. The gallop was a good one. Haria must have an out-side chance in the Cup. Uniform, looking muscular and well, covered a couple of rounds at half pace. Conqueror, who also appeared very well, was treated to cantering exercise. Leda ran once round, the Castor filly Wish taking her along for the first six furlongs, and linbv Twist bringing her home. The gallop was a fair one. The mare is improving every gailop. Serviceable work was also performed by Dim Djin, Firefly, The Guardsman, Lady Agnes, Choroid, Starshot, Off Chance, Marino, Quiltiri and Sing Song.
