Wind between north-west and west and south at all places. Barometer further rise everywhere. Sea heavy on all western coast and on east coast'south of East Cape. Tides good on west, coast of North Island, decreasing south of Cape Farewell, high on east coast south of East Cape, and moderate from thence northward.
Southe-ly gales,.are probable at places ■southward of East Cape, Taupo, and New Plymouth, and strong westerly winds and cold weather from thence northwards.
