POINT CHEVALIER SCHOOL BURNED.
At 2 o'clock to-day the Point Chevalier School was totally destroyed lire. The origin of the fire is unknown. The school has been shut up for a, week, since the commencement of the holidays. A large number of the resident*, turned out but could do nothing as-there was no water supply available. None of the school furniture was saved.
